A Minted Holiday

Every year since our first daughter was born I set a goal to have professional Christmas photos taken of our family for our Christmas cards.  And every year, not only have we been blessed enough to use the same amazing photographers, T & S Hughes Photography, but we have also traditionally ordered our cards through one of my favorite card companies, Minted.

Above is a peek at our 2015 Christmas cards! I chose this design for our cards since I love the simplicity and the way the bold lettering brings out the pops of red in the girls beautiful Strasburg Children’s Christmas dresses!

Here is a similar style in their New Years Holiday card!

This year I was thrilled to not only team up with Minted to create our annual Christmas cards but to also select some of their stunning artwork for our home just in time for the Holiday House Walk this year, click here to see the full tour! I fell head over heels for the sweetest piece titled A Deer Friend and when it arrived it was even cuter in person!

    • Oops! And my favorite holiday tradition is… making my Grammy’s secret fudge! My favorite used to just be eating it when I was little, but now that I am the only one to have the recipe besides my Grammy, I love being able to make it and share it with friends and my husband’s family!

  1. Minted is the bomb, I’ve used them the past few years and plan on doing so again next year {so a gc would sure be nice}! Lovely card btw.

  2. Oh I recognize that print — we have the same one! 🙂 I adore Minted and would love to put the $ toward some of their new linens. Following you both on IG (trysmallthings). Merry Christmas!

  3. I love Minted! Im hoping to put some of their artwork in my son’s and daughter’s rooms; we just bought our first home, and the walls are pretty bare! @katieestes8809

  4. We adore Minted and all the beautiful independent designs! For privacy reasons for I’d rather not list my IG name but I would happily provide if I was the selected winner! 🙂

  5. My favourite Christmas holiday tradition is watching old movies like White Christmas while sipping eggnog and eating homemade gingerbread men! I also enjoy going for car rides to see people’s beautiful light display. Most of all, I enjoy sharing ideas with my fiancé as to what we can add to our traditions 🙂

  6. My favorite holiday tradition is taking my kids to the mall to pick names off the Salvation Army angel tree and then we go out and buy those children Christmas gifts. It’s a tradition my mom did with me when I was 14 and I’ve been doing it for 19 years and hope my kids continue on the tradition once they are grown and have families of their own. I just want them to know that Christmas isn’t just about receiving but about giving and helping others.

Your minted cards are beautiful! That template was on my short list too;-) So many great designs to choose from!

  7. Our favorite tradition is making chex mix! We could make it all year long, but we never do! Only from Thanksgiving to Christmas!

  8. My favorite holiday tradition is Christmas sheets on all the beds from thanksgiving to Christmas — it brings the Christmas spirit into our every day lives & cheers the whole room up!
We would love this gift card for the arrival of our little guy — we have been looking for a company to do our announcements and their work looks amazing!

Thank you for hosting this give-a-way!

    Merry Christmas

  9. I have a lot of favorites but my new favorite holiday family tradition that we started is driving around looking at Christmas lights, listening to Christmas music, singing and drinking shakes! ❄️

  10. Spending Christmas day in our pajamas, cinnamon rolls for breakfast, opening gifts, and being thankful for my husband and 3 kids.

  11. HI there, What a great give away (for me, it will be for New Year’s cards as I’m late in the game this time around)! Probably one of the most significant Christmas traditions I enjoy is the Christmas Eve program at my church – always so thoughtful and intentional celebrating this season.

My IG name is missheinrichs (but I have a private account since I’m a teacher and some students tried to follow:).

  12. I have always been concerned about things looking pretty and matching…but we now have a Christmas tree that is adorned with Christmas ornaments either made by us as children, made for us by loved ones, or made by our daughter. It was so much more fun decorating the tree and recalling Christmases past. I’m sure this will be a tradition that we always keep!

  13. Watching “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” with egg nog! I just need to get those moose cups…

  14. My husband and I get sub sandwiches and make homemade spiced wine on Christmas Eve. Then watch Home Alone at night. It’s a nice low key relaxing night before the craziness of Christmas Day begins.

  15. My favorite holiday tradition is spending time with family playing board games on Christmas Day!!

  16. Sitting tigether as a family, and reading about the true meaning of CHRISTmas.

  17. I am newly engaged (as of December 11, 2015) so new traditions are on the rise! One of my favorite new traditions that we have started as a couple is getting each other an ornament to put on the tree that represents that person and their last year. We exchange the ornaments and put them on our tree with the year written on it. Though we now only have two ornaments on our tree and we are so excited to fill it up with many more and be able to look back on the years and remember all the ways we have bed so blessed by our gracious savior!

    • Minted Save the Dates are beautiful – we plan to send ours at the beginning of February and on a teacher and coach’s salary, this would be such a huge help!

  18. Love how your cards turned out!!! I totally slacked on the Christmas cards this year, so maybe I can make something in time for new years! Favorite holiday tradition is baking Christmas cookies for Santa 🙂
