You are so sweet and that means the world to me! I am a lot like you, the cozy layout, radiators and big trim are all little pieces of our home that remind me of its original state and I love those quirks!

Hi Nikki!

I love board and batten and shiplap for adding depth to walls, both which can be DIY projects! I am also a huge fan of wallpaper! All of those options add tons of depth and character in my opinion!

I am torn on this too because I love natural wood, but honestly when there is too much dark woodwork in a space it can sometimes look dated and dark. So if you’re asking me what I would personally do, I would paint it! 😉 I would love to see photos! If you’re on instagram tag me! xo
